Lil’ Wayne, Stay Strapped Lil’ Homie.

lil-wayne-strapped

You may have already heard how Lil’ Wayne (Dwayne Carter) just plead guilty for possession of a loaded 9mm firearm two years ago while on his tour bus in New York City. He gets sentenced this Friday and is looking at anywhere form an 8 month to 1 year bid. Damn.

Here’s hoping the Lil’ Homie stays strapped up during his short stay. #noshots

is greater than…

  • If he does under a year, he should seriously thank Plaxico Burress for being the “Make An Example” case and not him. Because this would truly be the lightest celebrity sentence on Bloomie’s mandatory minimum of 3 1/2 years on carrying heat. Same sentence that got Prodigy up north doing 3, and Plax doing 2 years…

  • Hi guys,

First clip leak of “The Carter Documentary” of Dwyane Michael Carter JR aka lil Wayne.

    Clip HERE —–> http://bit.ly/38jZMZ

[This ain't no VH1 rock doc. Rather, it is an intoxicating, cinematic journey into the thoughts and world of an extremely complicated man whose creative force is something to behold. He never stops recording.

He has a portable studio that he carries around in a black bag, and it allows him to lay down a track anytime anywhere. It is his pressure valve and makes him a refreshing anomaly in a sea of manufactured prefab ""singers."" His work is his own: unfiltered, uncensored, raw, and powerful]

  • No Mames Buey

recall Chino XL said “I’m trying to not to get focked by my record company, like 2Pac in jail”

The diminuitive Wayne makes Pac look like Shaq O’Neal.

    Situation looking grim for Wayne.

I watched the “Booty Warrior” video like 15 times in a row. That is pure comedy.

  • Would love to see stats on how many white dudes have gotten popped for this in NYC. Plaxico was in public so that was a difficult one to hide but P. was a traffic violation, Wayne suspicion of fucking marijuana?

40, as a true crime scholar, I’m sure we could both suggest numerous locations in NYC where, let’s call them our Eastern European brothers, are strapped and up to a WHOLE more more sinister shit than dropping two jillion mix-tapes and guest verses.

Willis whether it’s right or wrong some people should know that they are automatic targets. If you are still willing to do the same stupid things even though you know you are a target because of your lifestyle then that’s stupidity. Making hip-hop music is perfectly legal but from the looks of it it comes with a lot of baggage also. He didn’t want to accept that responsibility and he got caught up.

  • No, you’re right Lee and I should have noted I can’t stand up for the STUPIDITY all these guys demonstrated. Prodigy might have had a case, i.e. the illegal search, but couldn’t risk it trial and I guess same goes for Wayne, who had way more than enough $$$ to not put himself in jeopardy like that.

Still, it offends me, greatly, that some pretend these sentences are for the “safety” of society, or that it’s teaching anyone a lesson about anything.

It is clearly– until I see those stats– tokenism: let’s puff our Law and Order Chests over these knuckleheads while most of the largest rackets (many with legal fronts) and crooks work on getting their Bloomberg money.

I should say too Bernard Kerik behind bars makes smile but that’s the Feds; if only Rudy and Howard Safir were there too I’d laugh and say well… It can happen to anyone!

  • @Willis – I agree with you completely, and whereas I’m not absolving these dudes from their mistakes, these sentences for “safety” are problematic. Its the problem with mandatory sentencing, it doesn’t allow for mitigating circumstances when making a ruling. Trust me Plax was sorry the minute that gavel dropped and would take it all back the minute they put him on the Rikers bus.

But I take your point farther than “‘cism”, but it also has to do with the location of the offense. Two friends of mine who are NYPD said that case (Plax) had alot to do with him being busted in Manhattan below 110th street, as Bloomie & crew work to make Manhattan island more like an island off of Dubai for the international riche set and not a borough of NYC.

Case in point one of my cop friends was called in on a dude displaying a Tec-9 in a restaurant and was acting rowdy. Upon reaching the scene the cat with the gat makes a run for it, my man and his partner chase him down and in trying to arrest him there’s a struggle and dude is reaching for his Tec. My man is now in a life or death struggle with an armed man. They eventually subdue this cat and take him down to the precinct, and enter the Tec in to evidence. The clip was fully loaded with a hollow point in the chamber. My man tells the DA he wants to fully pursue the charges on this dude considering the threat he was to the patrons and to the police. Slam dunk case right? Illegal assault weapon with a hollow point? Easy win. Alas NOPE! Charges were thrown out, why? The gat had a busted firing pin, therefore making the weapon “non-lethal” (tell that to everyone who felt threatened). The borough where this took place?

    THE BRONX.

So to wrap it up. Manhattan Morgy LOVES knocking out these fish in the barrel cases (its great statistically), while the cases in the rest of the boroughs (like you Eastern Euros you eluded to) can completely hit or miss.

PS – I’d like to also add as someone who’s lost friends to gun violence and to gun cases I’m not trying to blame “The System”, just the inequity the sentencing is handed out.

LOL @ Lil Waynes Booty hole !!

If he does do time, at least he wont be able to record any more auto tune raps. His voice sounds horrible with that application.
As if somebody was touching punching him in the stomach while recording.

Did T.I. even do real time for all of the guns he got caught with ?

Cool ish, but I’m really feeling that new Mr. Finley track “Sin City.” I’m not even from Vegas, but if I was this would be blasting through my radio 24/7.

Here’s the YouTube video to it:

I always liked that advertisement. You can’t even tell that dude is a cop or whatever is implied. They just got Wayne bent over getting reamed from behind by some perv-assed white dude.
